The committee is made up of a diverse group of representatives from various organizations. The committee convenes onces a month to discuss developments from the social marketing campaign. Prevention First Colorado is devoted to making informed group decisions and values the committee's input on decisions.
Their Role in the Social Marketing Campaign
The role of the committee in the social marketing campaign is that of an advisor. In the beginning the committee was involved with the vision of the social marketing campaign and the hiring of the community-based social marketing firm. The committee selected GBSM to work on the campaign. GBSM is a well established and well respected Denver-based community and social marketing firm who has been working in the behavior change though community based advertising field for 23 years. Currently, the committee keeping informed of the progress of the campaign on a monthly basis and is encouraged to continue sharing comments and asking questions.
